We welcome parents working alongside us in school.  Extra encouraging smiles and pairs of willing hands are tremendously helpful.  If you would like to help in school, even if only for a limited amount of time over a short period, we would be very grateful.  We are sure that the experience would provide you with many interesting insights.  If you would like to be involved, please talk to your child's class teacher, or to the headteacher.

All volunteers will undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check in accordance with advice issued by the Local Authority.  If parents/carers complete a school DBS check, it is important to keep the continuity of the DBS by having a brief meeting with office staff every month.  If the meeting does not take place and a break of over three months occurs, the DBS check will no longer be valid.
