History
Children study a wide number of different historical periods within school. The different units of work studied, are all designed to make history ‘come alive’ for the children. Key strategies include the use of educational visits, visitors to school and high quality resources. An important focus throughout school is developing children’s skills as historians, a focus on using different sources of evidence is particularly important.
